How to develop our Reasoning and Self Learning?

In order to acquire True Knowledge we need to develop our Reasoning (Intellect), which is also the first step in Self Learning. Whenever we listen/read/see something we don’t have to believe/follow them blindly or ignore them upfront. Try to accept them first, then try to ask our Self ‘Why?, What?, Where?, When? and How?’ is it so and try to understand the real reasoning behind it. At the initial stages we can use multiple external sources like Internet, Books from different school of thoughts to gain some basic knowledge. In later stages when our Intellect is trained and developed, we will be able to find answers for all our questions by our Self. This is one of my favorite things to do and suggestion to who are in search of Absolute Truth!

Remember all of us are Infinite Potential Energy with all the great virtues and powers dormant inside us. We can unleash them only through continuous Practise and Self Learning. Happy Learning! 🙂

Work is worship – Why?

Through its own efforts, the mind assumes the shape of any object, it concentrates itself upon. If it thinks of a woman, it assumes the shape of a woman, Rajas (passion) will be infused into the mind; If it thinks of GOD or Brahman or Infinity, Sattva (purity) will be infused. It is one of the underlying concept behind Idol worship where the devotee thinks of a GOD with great virtues and unknowingly developing those great virtues inside him. This concept can be applied in many places. A simple example, “Work is worship” – here the worker fully concentrates on his job, it becomes GOD to him.

Thank you Dr. Jessie J Mercay!

Dear Friends,

On behalf of you all I like to thank Dr. Jessie J Mercay, the author of ‘Fabric of Universe: The Origins, Implications, and Applications of Vastu Science and Vaastu Science and Technology‘ for allowing me to share the immense and invaluable knowledge of our ancient science among all of us for a great cause! She also shared the revised version for the benefit of all. I have no words to explain her kindness and gratitude. We may wish all the very best in her future endeavors!

Dr. Jessie J Mercay and Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati are modern day reflections of Mamuni Mayan’s (Great Sage Mayan) great works.

“Vaastu Science embodies the onward universal journey from the Inner Subtle Nature to the Outer Gross Nature. In other words, the marked difference is that Vaastu Science is Spirit-centric and Modern Science, Matter-centric.

This Science, in its entirety and simplicity, when applied, enables us to live in harmony with the innate rhythm of Nature.

Dr. Jessie Mercay has thoroughly explained the origins of Universal Life and the Science behind it. Going one step further, her immense grasp of this Science has enabled her to expound very ably its applications in Building Architecture and its implications on human life.

As Shilpa Guru, I bless Dr. Jessie for her inimitable contribution to the essence of Indian Culture.”

Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati, B.A., F.I.I.A.

Personally I believe this knowledge will give the clarity and reasoning to understand Science, Spirituality and the Scientific principles behind the Religion and GOD. I felt this knowledge should be shared among all of us to know our Self better and for better humanity!

Sincere student,
Ganesh

Spirituality – The Ultimate Reality?

As in Micro, so in Macro. The whole exists within the minutest particle and the minutest particle contains the whole. The atom contains the universe and the universe contains the atom, and neither exists without the other. Creator exists within creation, even as creation exists within creator.

– Brahmarishi Mayan, circa 10,500 BC

Spirituality is the Ultimate Source of Reality. All the Universe, Nature, Science, Mathematics, Physics, Music, Dance, Arts and Architecture follow the same pattern. All are the application of one and the same. Based on our field of interest we can choose any one and do a deep analysis. At the end every one will join at one same point. The video given above is an excellent analysis to show the application of Spirituality in each and every atom of Universe from Mathematical point of view.

What is Self Knowledge / Self Awareness / Self Realization?

Self-knowledge is a simply a matter of understanding yourself and knowing what makes you tick. Each of us is a unique individual and not one of us is perfect because we are human beings. The perfect human being is yet to be born.

“The Self unfolds Itself, by Itself, for its Self” – Bhagavad Geetha

We are all actually the embodied soul (Self or Higher Self or Inner Self) represented as shown above. But we often refer our self with our lower self (Mind /Ego). When we try to know our Inner Self (Soul) by our self (Mind) and finally become one with the Universal Soul, that is known as self-knowledge or self-realization or Moksha or Nirvana or Samadhi or Infinite state or Brahman or GOD or Pure Consciousness or Infinite Consciousness or Ultimate Reality.

All the great and wise persons, Siddhars, Rishis, Sages, Yogis are all the seeker of the Absolute Truth or Knower of their Self only. Some of the well-known persons are Buddha, Mahavira, Maha Avataar Baba, Jesus, 18 Siddhars and there are many number of persons throughout India, China and rest of the world. All these persons are known as Spiritual persons.

Spirituality is nothing but knowing their own higher Self. All the Religions in the world are formed by the followers of this great person with the great notion to take it to common man in simple ways. Since concept of Infinite Consciousness can be only felt and cannot be explained exactly, many stories/poems/scripts are formed in understandable forms along with the ways to achieve it for common man. Science tries to understand this process by reasoning it and try to replicate the same. Mathematics, Architecture, Music, Dance, Arts are a few to name. All inventions in this world by human are just the application of the same.

All the above are just my humble thoughts in the course of learning from different sources and self-analysis. Appreciate your thoughts and feedback to know our Self better! 🙂

“I” – The Mental Concept

When we see a mango tree, it is external to us. There is externality. The mango tree is a mental percept. It is a mental concept also. There is no mango tree apart from the mind. We know the existence of the tree through the mind only. There is a mental image in the mind. The image in the mind plus the external something is the mango tree. Even if we close your eyes, we can get at the image through memory.

Our body also is as much external to us as that yonder mango tree. It is also a mental percept or mental concept. The mango tree is external to us with reference to our body only. The mango tree itself is a mere appearance that floats in the Absolute or the One Reality. As the mango tree is external to us from the standpoint of our body, and as the body itself is external to us, the idea of externality of the mango tree or this external universe is blown up now. The term internality also has a false existence only. There is internality only with reference to the externality. If the externality goes away, where is the internality? Both the terms internality and externality are mere illusions, creations of the mind. There is only the solid existence, the One Reality or Absolute behind the so-called internality and externality. That is the Real, Infinite!

Perception – Part 2

The View of Modern Medical Science

According to modern science, light-vibrations from outside strike the retina and an inverted image is formed there. These vibrations are carried through optic tract and optic thalamus to the center of vision in the occipital lobe of the brain in the back part of the head. There, a positive image is formed. Then only, you see the object in front of you.

Perception According to Sankhya Philosophy

The real back-ground of perception is the Soul. Fleshy eyes are only external instruments for perception. Eye is not an organ of vision. The organ of vision is a center situated in the brain; so is the case with all senses. Mind is connected with the Senses, the Senses with the corresponding centers in brain and the centers, with the physical organs, to the external object. The mind presents the sensation to Intellect ; Intellect takes it to the Soul. Now, real perception takes place. Soul gives order to Intellect.

Then, Intellect, after proper decision and judgment and after taking into consideration the pros and cons of the subject on hand, gives orders back to the mind, for execution through the motor centers (organs of action). Intellect is the President and Judge who hears the statements of the Advocate, viz., the mind. Mind plays two parts, viz., (i) that of an Advocate and (ii) that of a Commander-in-Chief. After receiving decisive orders from Intellect, the mind acts the part of a Commander-in-Chief and executes the orders of Intellect through the five soldiers, the five Senses.

First of all, there is the instrument for instance, the fleshy eye. It takes the sense-impressions to the center. The mind is then connected with the center and the external instruments, namely, the physical eye, ear, etc. The mind carries the impressions still further and presents them to the Intellect, the determinative faculty, which reacts. Then flashes out the idea of egoism, which self-arrogates and identifies with lower self. Then the mixture of action and reaction is presented to the Soul who perceives an object in the mixture.

Knowledge comes through contact with objects. To know an object in the world, Senses, Ego and Soul are required. Senses will see the object. Mind will make it appear. Intellect, with the help of consciousness, will understand it. Mind, senses and the external instruments such as the physical eye, ear, etc., should all be joined together. Then only perception of an object is possible. The object comes in contact with the senses. The senses are linked to the mind. The mind is connected to the Soul. The Soul illumines. This is with reference to the physical plane.

Illustration of Perception

When you see a mango tree, it is external to you. There is externality. The mango tree is a mental percept. It is a mental concept also. There is no mango tree apart from the mind. You know the existence of the tree through the mind only. There is a mental image in the mind. The image in the mind plus the external something is the mango tree. Even if you close your eyes, you can get at the image through memory. The green color of the leaves is due to a certain rate of light vibrations (say, 10 millions of vibrations). These light vibrations strike at the retina and are taken to the vision center at the back of the brain. The mango-leaves have the power to split the white rays and absorb the green color only. So says science.

Your body also is as much external to you as that yonder mango tree. It is also a mental percept or mental concept. The mango tree is external to you with reference to your body only. The mango tree itself is a mere appearance that floats in the Absolute or the One Reality. As the mango tree is external to you from the standpoint of your body, and as the body itself is external to you, the idea of externality of the mango tree or this external universe is blown up now. The term internality also has a false existence only. There is internality only with reference to the externality. If the externality goes away, where is the internality? Both the terms internality and externality are mere illusions, creations of the mind. There is only the solid existence, the One Reality or Absolute behind the so-called internality and externality. That is the Real, Infinite. “I” is your own lower self.
