Meaning lies in us!

Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.

  1. Sorry to disappoint in regard to this apparently universal erroneous belief. There is “love” an emotion (of the mind) and a sense of Oneness (for want of a better description). I suggest to anyone interested in further enlightenment on the subject a search of my writings* for the word “love”.
    * This means both the book and the file Consider This.

  2. Let me reword y earlier statement from “There is “love” an emotion (of the mind) and a sense of Oneness (for want of a better description).” to There is “love” which is an emotion (which is of the mind) and “love” a sense of Oneness (for want of a better description) which is not of the mind but an awareness “within” which one can truly say we are born with.

    1. Here is something I came across this morning:

      Earthly “love” & Spiritual Oneness.
The seeker of the Truth will at some time discover that although in Reality “love” does not exist it, like “time” which also does not exist in Reality, is an Earthly tool, as is time, to be used judiciously and is responsible for spiritual growth or spiritual stalling.
However, in this realm of duality, with love comes its opposites – as many opposites as its nuances.
Seek, then, the difference between Earthly “love” and the spiritual oneness.
