phi spiral

The phi spiral in one direction will often be seen counterbalanced with another one in the opposite direction – called the Phi Double Spiral.

This double spiral creates natural boundaries. For example, it matches up perfectly with the human eye as you can see in this picture. The pupil appears to be colored in with green and the iris appears to be outlined, but that’s actually the natural overlapping of the lines from the phi double spiral.

natural harmony…

sacred geometry

The scientist does not study nature because it is useful to do so. He studies it because he takes pleasure in it, and he takes pleasure in it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful it would not be worth knowing, and life would not be worth living. I am not speaking, of course, of the beauty which strikes the senses, of the beauty of qualities and appearances. I am far from despising this, but it has nothing to do with science. What I mean is that more intimate beauty which comes from the harmonious order of its parts, and which a pure intelligence can grasp.

Art of meditation?

Quote

Conscious of Consciousness

You exist in time, but you belong to eternity. You are a penetration of eternity into the world of time. You are deathless, living in a body of death. Your consciousness knows no death, no birth. It is only your body that is born and dies. But you are not aware of your consciousness. You are not conscious of your consciousness. And that is the whole art of meditation; Becoming conscious of consciousness itself.
